Some members will already know that we have recently purchased a house in
Cyprus for use as a holiday home. This house is available to rent. We are
unable to rent it entirely for Carts, but as an experiment we have decided
to make it available at the rate of 2/3 £ - 1/3 Carts for Camborne/Redruth
LETS members.

Aynine is a 2 bedroom house situated on the outskirts of Larnaca, about 300
metres from the beach. It is approximately 20km from the airport and takes
20 mins by car or taxi (fare less than £10.00)
Accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, a lounge, Kitchen, Bathroom and
downstairs washroom/toilet. One bedroom has a double bed, the other 3 singles.
An additional folding bed is supplied.
The garden is laid mainly to grass, with some small palm trees and shrubs. A
patio overlooks the Garden providing shade. The property is fully
air-conditioned and equipped with washing machine full size cooker/hob,
Large fridge/freezer, electric iron, barbeque with rotary spit, water heating
is by electricity. Bed linen and towels are supplied.
The house is just 3 minutes walk from the beach where sun beds and umbrellas
can be hired for a modest sum. Buses to and from Larnaca/Ayia Napa pass
nearby every half hour during the day. Banks and small shops are within
easy walking distance as are many pubs, bars, tavernas and restaurants.
Supermarkets and larger shops are 10 minutes by car.
Larnaca
Much smaller than Nicosia or Limassol, Larnaca has a population of 62.000
and has managed to retain a relaxed, leisurely atmosphere. Its main shopping
area is Zenon Kitieos Street, a typically busy road of small shops, with a
wonderfully colourful fruit and vegetable market at the far end.
On the edge of Larnaka Bay the palm-lined seafront of Larnaca town bustles
with cafes, tavernas, shops and bars. Historic charm is lent to the scene by
its fortress castle, now used as the town's summer cultural centre. Larnaca
is an excellent base from which to get to know the central and eastern
section of Cyprus. Its proximity to the International Airport and its
beautiful clean beaches make this a popular holiday choice.
Oroklini
Oroklini (sometimes spelled Vorlokini) is a small village area to the east
of Larnaca, close to the coast road from Larnaca towards Ayia Napa. Situated
between the sea and the hills. It is close to the main road network giving
easy access to the rest of the island it is ideally situated as a base for a
holiday, whether you want a peaceful retreat or access the Bars,
restaurants, tavernas and the towns of Larnaca and Ayia Napa.
